Blink Opens 10 Roles to Expand Its AI App Generation Platform

By Zero G Talent•

Blink is building a platform designed to let users create and launch full-stack web and mobile applications using plain language prompts. Based in San Francisco, California, the Seed-stage company participated in Y Combinator's W22 batch and has raised funding from Next47. Founder Kai Feng leads the team.

The platform relies on AI code generation to construct web applications without manual software development. Blink handles application design, database structures, backend infrastructure, hosting, and user authentication automatically.

Platform Tech Stack and Architecture

Blink's software architecture runs on TypeScript, Next.js, Firebase Cloud Firestore, Cloudflare CDN and workers, and AWS. The company maintains its own full-stack Blink SDK, global SQL database structure, and custom domain management infrastructure.

Applications produced on the platform are editable, remixable, and deployable to live custom domains with one-click setup. Users can also configure monetization features directly within the generated applications. The company states that its entire platform codebase was built using AI code generation tools.

Team Expansion Across Engineering and Growth

Blink is currently expanding its initial team with 10 open positions across engineering, product design, developer relations, and marketing.

On the technical and product team, the company is bringing on a Full Stack Software Engineer ($85,000–$150,000) to build core platform capabilities, a Developer Experience Engineer ($80,000–$150,000) to support users, and an AI Support Engineer ($40,000–$95,000). The team is also hiring a Lead Product Designer ($60,000–$120,000) to lead UX across its app creation suite.

To drive user adoption, Blink is recruiting across growth and content creation roles. Open positions include a Founding Growth Marketer ($50,000–$150,000), a Social Media Marketing Manager ($50,000–$120,000), a remote Growth Marketer ($35,000–$350,000), an Influencer Marketing Program Manager ($35,000–$350,000), a Content Creator (Video) ($35,000–$350,000), and a Developer Relations (YouTube) manager ($35,000–$350,000).
