General Thomas White served as a commissioned officer in the United States Army for 23 years, rising to the rank of Brigadier General. He concluded his service as Executive Officer to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, retiring from Active Duty in July 1990. Under President George W. Bush, General White served as Secretary of the U.S. Army from 2001 – 2003, leading the Army through 9/11 and the initiation of combat missions in Afghanistan and Iraq. Gen. White has extensive experience in the energy industry, leading several operating subsidiaries of Enron Corp., and is a Founding/Managing Partner of DKRW Energy.
