Marco Pagani

Marco Pagani served as the President of Nakina Systems Inc. since August 2006. Mr. Pagani served as the Chief Executive Officer of Nakina Systems Inc. from 2006 to January 2009. Mr. Pagani served as an Executive Management Consultant of Nakina Systems Inc. until April 2006. He served as the President of Optical Ethernet and Storage Solutions of Nortel Networks for 18 years. Mr. Pagani has over 19 years of experience in the Telecommunications industry. Mr. Pagani also served as President, Metro Optical Division, President of Core Networks and General Manager of Carrier Data Networks and Passport Multi-Service Data with Nortel Networks. He has also established an excellent network with industry leaders in Service Providers, Fortune 500 and vendor communities including IBM, SUN, HP and EMC. He is a recognized leader in the optical ethernet and storage markets, and worked with Service Providers and industry stakeholders around the world to define service offerings and the requisite network and management infrastructure required to deliver on customer commitments. He has been Chairman of DIATEM Networks since February 2005 and Nimcat Networks, Inc. since 2004. He serves as the Chairman of VenGrowth Asset Management Inc. He served as the Chairman of Nakina Systems Inc. since April 2006. He served as the Chairman of the Board of BTI Photonic Systems Inc. and serves as its Director. He serves as a Director of Nimcat Networks, Inc. He served as a Director of BTI Photonics, Inc. since April 6, 2005 and also served as its Chairman of the Board. He serves as Member of Advisory Board of VenGrowth Asset Management Inc. and BTI Photonics, Inc. He is a Member of Technology Advisory Board at Vengrowth Capital Funds. He served as Director of Nakina Systems Inc. Mr. Pagani holds a Bachelors of Computer Science degree from Carleton University.
