Kim-Mai Cutler

Kim leads investing in areas where technology touches the physical world such as PropTech, energy abundance, vertical AI, and defense tech. Prior to joining Initialized, she was a journalist for a decade, reporting for publications including TechCrunch, Bloomberg and The Wall Street Journal. Paired with her investing history in entrepreneurs that are transforming how we live and work, she has a track record in converting ideas into political movements and new laws after being an early proponent of housing reforms that have led to more than a half-dozen new California state laws. She is an avid sourdough baker who has recently gotten into cut flower gardening.
