Kenneth M. Burke, Jr., CFA, is a principal at Fayez Sarofim & Co. Mr. Burke joined the company in June 2001 as an associate, after completing an internship with the firm in the summer of 2000. He is currently responsible for the research of the food, restaurant, retail, and tobacco industries and serves as a sector leader for the consumer staples and discretionary sectors. In addition to his research responsibilities, he is a portfolio manager for a wide variety of U.S. institutional clients, as well as high net worth individuals. Mr. Burke received an M.B.A. from the University of Texas in 2001 and graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in mathematics and economics in 1997. Prior to attending business school, he was employed with Raymond James & Associates.
