Alan R. Christensen

Alan R. Christensen, CFA, is the Chief Operating Officer and a Vice President at Fayez Sarofim & Co. Mr. Christensen joined the company as an Associate in 2005 after completing an internship in the summer of 2004. He is currently responsible for the research of the technology, industrials, and household appliance industries; he is also a portfolio manager. Mr. Christensen received an M.B.A. with Distinction from Cornell University, where he was a Park Fellow, in 2005, and graduated cum laude from Washington & Lee University with a B.A. in Economics and History in 1995. Prior to joining Fayez Sarofim & Co., he was employed as a Director at Alvarez & Marsal and as a Senior Manager in the Capital Markets practice of Accenture. Mr. Christensen currently serves on the Leaders of Tomorrow at The University of Texas Health Science Center and the Palmer Memorial Finance Committee.
