Catherine P. Crain

Catherine P. Crain, CFA, is a Vice President at Fayez Sarofim & Co. Ms. Crain serves as a portfolio manager for a wide variety of institutional and high net worth clients. She is also a co-manager on the mutual funds that Fayez Sarofim & Co. manages for The Dreyfus Corporation. Ms. Crain joined Fayez Sarofim & Co. in 1993 as a research associate. Over the years, her areas of research responsibility have included transportation, media and entertainment, and consumer products. Ms. Crain attended the University of Texas at Austin and received a B.A. with highest honors in the Plan II Liberal Arts Honors Program in 1989. She was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Before returning to graduate school, she worked for Merrill Lynch & Co. as a financial analyst in its investment banking division in New York and Houston. In 1993, she received an M.B.A. with a concentration in finance from the University of Texas. Ms. Crain is a life member of the McCombs School of Business Advisory Council. She also serves as a member of The Joy School Board of Trustees.
