John M. Ballbach

John M. Ballbach, 52, is a private investor who previously served as president, chief executive officer and chairman of VWR International, LLC, a leading global laboratory supply company. He held the role of president and CEO from 2005 to July 2012, during which time he also served as a director. He was chairman of the board from 2007 until 2012. Prior to his leadership at VWR International, Ballbach held management positions at Valspar Corporation, a global leader in coatings. He joined Valspar in 1990, and served as president and chief operating officer from 2002 until 2004. He has been a company director since 2012.
