Apero is a recent Y Combinator-backed startup based in San Francisco bringing transparency and ease to medical billing and healthcare. As one of the top startups from the most recent Y Combinator batch, we have raised from well-known investors and firms including the creator of Gmail Paul Buchheit and the founders of Doctor on Demand, Gusto and Reddit.

We hold a sprint planning meeting every week, and try to iterate quickly but sensibly. Many of our deliverables are just design docs in Notion where we have multiple user stories, and solicit feedback. Currently we mostly use Javacript/React for our UI and Python for our backend, though we're always open to newer technologies. We ship dozens of times per day with robust CI/CD per day. We're actively hiring for full-stack engineers across the stack who want to learn about the latest fintech, and database and infra experience, along with some of experienced, well-networked engineers.
