Job Description
About Dataleap
We're the agentic operating system for the enterprise. We enable business teams to build, scale, and manage the most capable AI employees on the market.
We raised $3M from YC and angels like Aravind (CEO Perplexity) and Rahul Vohra (Superhuman). We have thousands of agents running at 2,000+ person scale-ups and Fortune 500 companies. We have PMF and are doubling revenue every month. We have far more demand than we can handle.
About the role
I'm Jan, one of the founders. I'm looking for my right hand.
You'll work directly with me, side by side, day in and day out. When something is the most important thing to get done, you own it, whether that's growth, sales, hiring, or the thing nobody's picked up yet. You won't be handed a job description; you'll be handed outcomes.
We're at a defining moment. We're ramping sales harder than we ever have, and I need someone in the trenches with me for the ride. If you want a front-row seat to how a company is built and scaled from the inside, and you want your fingerprints all over it, this is the seat.
Your learning trajectory here will be absurd. I'll push you harder than anyone has, and I'll make sure this is the fastest growth of your career. It's a rare window for Dataleap, and for whoever takes this seat.
What you'll own
• Whatever is most important and least owned. It changes week to week.
• Sales and go-to-market execution: driving outreach, running down pipeline, prepping for deals, making sure nothing slips, turning our momentum into closed logos.
• Ops that keep us fast: the systems, follow-ups, and coordination that let me spend my time in the rooms that matter.
• Hiring: sourcing, screening, and pulling great people over the line with us.
• Special projects: the messy, high-stakes things that don't belong to any team yet. You research it, form a view, make the call, and ship it.
• Automate your own role with Dataleap. We build AI employees for a living. You'll build agents that eliminate the manual parts of your own job, not use AI as a productivity buff, but systematically engineer yourself out of the repetitive work.
Who you are
• A founder who executes. Titles and pedigree matter less to me than range, judgment, and relentless ownership. The best signal is that you've built something real, a company, a project, a team from nothing. Former founders, early startup operators, and first-few-employees are exactly who I want; career-pivoters welcome too, if you can show you run through walls. This is not a role for consultants who plan; it's for people who do.
• Extremely high agency. You see what needs to happen and you make it happen, without permission, without a playbook.
• A high-agency generalist. You can swing from a sales call to a hiring debrief to an ops fire in the same afternoon and create structure where there wasn't any.
• A workhorse with instinct. You outwork the room, but you also have the judgment to know what's worth doing in the first place.
• Ownership to the core. You own outcomes, not tasks. A dropped ball is physically uncomfortable for you.
• All-in on AI. You believe, like I do, that AI employees are the future, and you're already living in these tools, not just exploring them.
You've probably been the most capable person on most teams you've ever been on. That won't be true here, and that's exactly why you want in: you'll finally be surrounded by people who push you.
How we work
This is your life's work right now, and mine too. We operate like athletes: we take care of ourselves and our bodies, and we work hard and win. High standards, high output, no excuses, and we enjoy the ride together.
What this is not
• Not an executive-assistant, calendar, or note-taking role.
• Not a "shadow the founder and learn" role, you'll own real things from week one.
• Not a single-function, boring pure-GTM or pure-ops seat.
• Not for someone who needs rigid structure or waits to be told what to do.
What you get
• The closest seat to a founder in the company, and a hand in every important decision.
• A learning curve and network (YC, Founders Inc, top angels) you won't find anywhere else.
• Unlimited AI budget. We practice what we preach.
• Competitive base + meaningful early equity
• If you ever want to start your own company, I'll back you.
How we hire (fast, ~2 weeks start to finish)
1. Get to know me (Jan).
2. Meet the team.
3. A take-home on a real problem we're facing.
4. A paid cowork / work trial, in the trenches together.
5. Offer, and you're in.
If this resonates, reach out.
