Founding Engineer
Job Description
We raised $3M from YC and angels like Aravind (CEO Perplexity), Rahul Vohra (Superhuman), to build the agentic operating system for the Enterprise. We have thousands of agents deployed at scale-up startups and enterprise companies. We have PMF and are doubling revenue every month. Now we need someone who can push it to the next limits.
We need someone who operates at CTO-level. Someone who can take a vague problem, scope it, build it end-to-end, and ship something that actually provides value. Backend-heavy, AI-native, but able to go full stack when needed. No hand-holding. No waiting for specs.
You need to be a full-stack engineer, an AI engineer, and a product engineer in one person. Being a former founder is a plus for this role.
The responsibilities:
- Own large parts of the product end-to-end. From user insight to production
- Build and improve our agentic systems. Make them more accurate, more reliable, more powerful
- Work at the frontier of AI engineering. Context engineering, tool use, agent architectures
- Stack is Go Backend, Vite (Typescript) Frontend
- Talk to users. Understand their pain. Scope features that actually solve problems
- Push AI-first development. Claude Code, coding agents, automation. You should be obsessed with scaling yourself
- Review code fast. Maintain high standards across the codebase
You are a good fit if you:
- Are a 100x engineer. Razor sharp. Able to solve difficult problems fast
- Have deep product sense. You build for users, not for code's sake
- Love Go and care about clean, maintainable code
- Have experience building AI products, ideally agentic systems or AI coding tools
- Are fascinated by the new coding paradigms. Claude Code, Cursor, coding agents. You're already using them
- Know how to scale yourself to an insane degree through automation
- Have great code taste and can review PRs at speed without sacrificing quality
- Are versatile. Backend-heavy but not allergic to frontend
- Thrive in ambiguity. You don't need a PM to tell you what to build
- Have built something from scratch before. A startup, a side project, a feature that shipped
AI research background is a plus. Experience at an AI coding startup is a plus. But what matters most is that you're exceptional and hungry.
What you get:
- Work alongside a brilliant design engineer who makes everything look and feel incredible
- A CTO and cofounder who will push you harder than anyone has before and make you grow faster than you thought possible
- Unlimited AI budget. We practice what we preach
- Generous equity and comp reflecting the outsized impact this role will have
- A seat at the table. This is a founding role. You'll shape the product and the company
We're building the platform that redefines how people work. If you want to build at the frontier, reach out.
