Accounts & Finance Intern

₹12,000–₹15,000/month

Job Description

About the Role

Looking to turn your accounting knowledge into real-world finance experience?

We’re looking for a Finance Intern who is curious, detail-oriented, and eager to understand how finance actually works inside a growing business.

This isn’t just a data-entry internship. You’ll work closely with our Finance team and get hands-on exposure to vendor payments, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, GST, TDS, RCM, financial reporting, compliance, and accounting systems.

If you’re pursuing a career in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce and want practical experience beyond textbooks, this is a great place to start.

What You’ll Work On

1.       Review and verify invoices, payment details, supporting documents, and vendor information before payments are processed.

2.        Monitor daily bank balances and help maintain accurate bank transaction records.

3.        Support daily and monthly bank reconciliations and identify mismatches or pending entries.

4.        Assist with invoice booking, invoice verification, and accounts payable activities.

5.        Match vendor invoices with GST records and support reconciliation activities.

6.        Assist the team with GST, TDS, and RCM calculations, documentation, compliance, and payment processes.

7.        Work with accounting and ERP tools such as Tally, Zoho Books, Odoo, or similar finance systems.

8.        Support the Finance team with reporting, documentation, record maintenance, and day-to-day finance operations.

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need years of experience — we’re looking for someone who is willing to learn, takes ownership, and pays attention to the details.

You should have:

  • A basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Basic knowledge of GST and TDS
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • A willingness to learn new finance tools and processes
  • Good organisational and problem-solving skills

Who Can Apply

  • Students currently pursuing or candidates who have recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Candidates with up to 3 months of internship or accounting experience

What You’ll Learn

By the end of this internship, you’ll have practical exposure to:

  • End-to-end Accounts Payable processes
  • Vendor payments and reconciliations
  • Real-world application of GST, TDS, and RCM
  • Bank reconciliation and cash-flow monitoring
  • Month-end closing and MIS reporting
  • Audit documentation and finance compliance
  • Hands-on experience with accounting and ERP software
  • How a Finance team operates inside a fast-moving business

Why This Internship?

Because finance is best learned by actually doing it.

You’ll work on real transactions, real reconciliations, real compliance processes, and real business reporting — giving you the kind of practical experience that can help you build a strong foundation for a career in Accounting, Finance, Audit, Taxation, or Corporate Finance.

If numbers make sense to you, Excel doesn’t scare you, and you’re excited to learn how finance works behind the scenes — we’d love to hear from you.
