Software Engineer

Hi, my name is Gabriel and I'm the founder of Y/n.

Y/n is an app where you can create, share, and play interactive stories. Today, 100K+ people spend 3+ hours a day in the app playing characters in text stories of their own making.

We're looking for a founding full-stack engineer to own most of the app surface and our personalized recommendations infrastructure. This is a role with a lot of ownership across the product!

What we expect from you:

• You’ve built actual infrastructure (not just pushed to Vercel).
• You’ve worked at a startup or built meaningful side projects.
• Optional: you’re into fandom, reading, games, or fanfiction!
• You're willing to relocate to San Francisco.
