We’re seeking a proactive, relationship‑driven University Talent Acquisition Business Partner (Talent AcquIsition Staff III/IV) who is passionate about engaging early‑career talent and building high‑impact hiring pipelines. In this role, you’ll represent The Aerospace Corporation on campus and at nationwide recruiting events, helping inspire the next generation of engineers, scientists, and business professionals.
You’ll become deeply familiar with Aerospace’s mission, programs, and culture—and share that story with students in a way that strengthens our brand and attracts diverse, high‑caliber talent.
This role may be based in El Segundo, CA.; Colorado Springs, CO.; Chantilly, VA.; or other company locations, and requires at least 4 days a week onsite.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead full‑cycle recruiting for entry-level talent, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, compensation analysis, and extending offers
Act as a strategic recruiting partner to hiring managers, providing consultative guidance on campus and market insights
Develop innovative sourcing strategies to build talent pipelines aligned with Aerospace’s strategic imperatives on campus and with recruitment programs
Execute recruiting plans for designated campuses, conferences, and early‑career programs
Collaborate with business groups across multiple locations to streamline planning, sourcing, and hiring processes while maintaining compliance
Utilize applicant tracking systems and CRM tools to manage candidate flow, data accuracy, and reporting
Guide and coordinate campus teams on hiring objectives, branding protocols, and event staffing
Serve as the primary point of contact for students—ensuring a seamless, positive, and engaging candidate experience from first touch through offer
Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and fun team culture
What You Need Successful:
Minimum Requirements for Talent Acquisition Staff III:
Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of agency or corporate recruiting experience
At least 3 years of corporate college recruiting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong skills using applicant tracking systems and CRM tools
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, lead small groups, and deliver compelling presentations
Ability to travel domestically up to 50% and work extended hours during peak seasons
In addition to the requirements above, the Minimum Requirements for Talent Acquisition Staff IV are:
10 years of agency or corporate recruiting experience
At least 5 years of corporate college recruiting experience
Experience building university partnerships
How You Can Stand Out
Experience with Workday, CRM tools such as Dynamics, Yello, or Avature, or university recruiting platforms including NACELink, Symplicity, or Handshake
Experience with STEM or engineering‑focused recruiting, and applying data-driven recruiting strategies

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.

$84,600.00 - $160,500.00Pay Basis: Annual
