- Establish a consistent hybrid-cloud architecture that integrates on-premises environments, data centers, and public cloud services.
- Identify and implement appropriate AI-assisted automation and AIOps use cases, including event correlation, anomaly detection, capacity forecasting, incident prevention, automated remediation, documentation, and operational knowledge management.
- Ensure AI-enabled infrastructure solutions are implemented securely and responsibly, with appropriate controls for data protection, access, validation, auditability, and human oversight.
- Establish and maintain infrastructure security standards, including vulnerability remediation, patch management, identity and access controls, secrets management, network segmentation, and least-privilege access.
- Lead infrastructure incident response and act as the escalation point for significant business or technical issues related to IT infrastructure.
- Define and measure team and individual operational metrics against established goals and use the results to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead capacity planning, technology lifecycle management, disaster recovery, backup, business continuity, and infrastructure resilience initiatives.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, cloud providers, managed service providers, and other external partners.
