  • Internal PaaS Management: Administer, automate, and evolve our internal Proxmox-based Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), ensuring R&D teams have robust, scalable infrastructure.
  • Engineering Support & Troubleshooting: Act as a bridge to product teams by analyzing complex service interactions. You will debug and optimize application performance by leveraging your understanding of protocol-level behaviors (e.g., messaging queues, database connections, and authentication flows like OIDC).
  • Pipeline & Delivery Automation: Maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI) and support our platform delivery mechanisms, utilizing GitOps practices (such as Flux) to ensure consistency across environments.

Core Technical Requirements:

  • Kubernetes & Storage: Deep experience in Kubernetes orchestration, with a understanding of Kubernetes storage concepts, Networking and workload distribution
  • Infrastructure Automation: Experience with Ansible and Python for configuration management and orchestration.
  • Protocol & Service Understanding: Ability to debug at the protocol level (Message Queues, Databases, OIDC/Authentication flows, etc.).
  • Databases & Observability: Experience in Relational Database configuration (e.g., MySQL) and cluster monitoring/alerting (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
  • OS & Virtualization: Solid foundation in Linux administration and experience with virtualizationtechnologies (Proxmox).
  • CI/CD & GitOps: Familiarity with GitLab for CI/CD and experience with modern deployment tooling (e.g., Flux).
