
Job Description
This role sits at the intersection of engineering, sales, and product. You’ll work directly with Regbase’s customers from the first conversation through implementation, rapidly build solutions to their problems, and bring what you learn back into the core product.
You’ll have a high amonut of ownership and variety: one week you might build an MVP for a prospective customer, the next you might improve an AI agent, and the next you might work with the team to turn something you've built for one customer into a product feature.

What you will do:
- Work directly with Regbase's customers from pre-sale through implementation and ongoing use
- Build MVPs and prototypes to solve customer problems
- Implement custom software and integrations for customers
- Build strong relationships with customers and deeply understand their workflows
- Identify patterns across customer needs and turn them into product opportunities
- Contribute data, research, and feedback to Regbase's internal corpus
- Contribute features and improvements to the core product
- Analyze, evaluate, and improve AI agent performance
About you:
- 2-5 years of experience Software Engineering
- Intellectually curious about laws, regulations and public policy
- Excited about AI development, with hands-on experience building with LLMs
- Comfortable working directly with customers and communicating technical ideas clearly
- A collaborative team player who believes strong teams can drive significant change
- Keen to experiment, challenge norms and deliver secure and reliable systems that delight Regbase’s users
- Leverage AI in your daily life and work
Bonus if you are:
- Comfortable in Typescript
- Experience working in a customer-facing engineering, solutions engineering, or forward-deployed role
- Located in or are willing to relocate to New York

Interview Process
- Quick 30 minute tech screen call
- 1 hour technical interview with CTO (Ethan Shea, former staff engineer at Vercel)
- 30 minute interview with CTO and CEO
- If you’re available, ideally we would like to do a 3-5 day work trial and see if it’s a good fit
- Otherwise we might ask for a second technical and behavioral interview with the full team
