TITLE: Communications Specialist
LOCATION: Luxembourg
ABOUT THE ROLE
ispace-Europe is seeking a strategic, creative, and execution-oriented communications and marketing professional to strengthen the company’s market presence and translate business objectives into impactful communication strategies.
Reporting to the EU Business Director, the Communications Specialist will help shape ispace-Europe’s position across the EMEA (including UK) region and contribute to the company’s global narrative by developing integrated communication plans, managing media and leveraging communication performance insights to continuously improve visibility and engagement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, implement, and continuously evolve an over-arching communications strategy that aligns with the company’s overall goals, working with the regional CEO, EU Business Director and government affairs team.
- Collaborate with the EU Business director to translate ispace EU’s business spriorities, key messaging and value proposition in different EMEA countries/markets into integrated communications strategies for European EMEA (both regional and at country level as appropriate) and international audiences.
- Develop and execute integrated media, social media, and PR campaigns, including content creation, press releases, including collaboration with and management of external communications partners, to strengthen ispace-Europe’s’s visibility, reputation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Collaborating with EU CEO, Business Director and global affairs, design and manage influence campaigns targeting priority stakeholders, including European institutions, space agencies, government bodies, industry partners, customers, investors, research organizations, media, and ecosystem influencers.
- Develop compelling strategic narratives around ispace’s value propositions, including lunar transportation, lunar data and payload services, commercial space, public-private cooperation, and contribution to the European space ecosystem.
- Coordinate closely with ispace, inc. Communications team and wider ispace global communications teams to ensure campaigns, messaging, media engagement, brand identity, and stakeholder communications are aligned with ispace communications strategy and branding.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years of experience in strategic communications, corporate communications, public relations, ideally in commercial space, aerospace, defence, deep-tech, technology, or other highly regulated industries.
- Proven experience in communication strategy, media relations, and integrated communications.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical and commercial topics.
- Strong stakeholder management, with experience working across functions and with external agencies.
- Experience in the European space sector, working with European institutions and/or space agencies, including European Space Agency (ESA) programs, a strong advantage.
- Data-driven approach to measuring and improving communication performance.
- Fluent in English; an additional European language is an asset. Japanese is a plus.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced international environment.
