About Imagine AI

We automate LinkedIn marketing through executive led content for mid market companies. We are serving over 30 companies from Series A to IPO’d companies, including MongoDB, Rippling, and Corgi Insurance. We started in June 2025 and launched out of Y Combinator’s F25 cohort. Our co-founders are Sky and Neo.

What your day will look like

You will be one of our first few hires at Imagine AI, which means you will have a huge responsibility and impact in our business. You will own our agent harness end to end: the orchestration layer that powers our content agents, including workflows, tool calling, memory, and evals, built with Mastra on top of our Nextjs stack.

You will join customer calls, talk to them directly, and translate what you learn into agent behavior improvements immediately. You will also live on slack and provide customer support directly to our customers. This means if you are excited about owning the entire lifecycle of an agentic product, you should come work with us! You will see your effort being reflected in our revenue curve directly!

Hard requirements

• 2-5 years of experience
• You must have hands-on experience building agents with a framework like Mastra (preferred) or a similar agent framework (LangGraph, Vercel AI SDK, OpenAI Agents SDK, etc.)
• You must be proficient in our web stack (Nextjs, Typescript)
• You must have built and shipped agentic features from 0 to 1, owning them from design to production

Soft requirements

• You must love talking to customers and translating their feedback to product updates
• You must write clean and maintainable code
• You must have taste and opinion on what a great agent experience looks like

Interview Process

For the interview process, we have 4 phases. After each phase, we will take some time to look over the notes and discuss internally before moving forward. We are still iterating on the process, but we aim to provide a great experience to all candidates by moving fast.

0. Application

We will look over any materials that you send us. Some nice to have things are quick summary of your highlights, demos of your past projects, resumes, and what you are looking for.

1. Quick get to know you

You will meet with Neo for a 20 minutes video chat.

Primarily, we want to get an overview of your background, positions you have worked on previously, career wise what you are looking for in the short and medium term future.

Some stuff we want to align on early are the job responsibilities, hiring process, compensation range, and any other recruiting commitments you have.

This is also a chance for you to ask us any questions that are not already covered. Just be genuine and curious!

2. Technical interview 1

The second technical interview is a 45 minutes long video meeting where we will work through a LeetCode-style problem together.

3. Technical interview 2

The first technical interview is a 45 minutes long video meeting. We will do a deep dive into past technical experiences in more of a workshop style. No white-boarding or brain teasers.

4. Culture and motivation chat

You will meet with Sky for a short 20 minutes chat to dive deeper into culture and motivation.

5. Half-day onsite interview

We will have a half-day onsite interview where you will come into the office to meet the team in person. We can flexibly arrange around the your schedule.

A high level overview of the onsite loop:

1. We start with a 45 minutes coding interview where we will work on a small independent project together
2. Then we will have 45 minutes architecture design white-boarding session on a problem we are facing internally at the moment
3. After that we will have a 30 minutes culture interview
4. At the end is a 30 minutes manager interview
5. We will also be able to have lunch together, during which we will get to know each other on a personal level

After the onsite, we will get back to you with our final decision ASAP.
