Role Overview
We are looking for a Sales Engineer who combines technical expertise with strong sales skills to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will understand customer manufacturing challenges, recommend suitable robotic automation solutions, and manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across manufacturing, industrial automation, automotive, electronics, logistics, and educational sectors.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable robotic automation solutions.
- understanding of cobots and robots.
- Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept discussions.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and solution presentations.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure.
- Coordinate with solutioning, engineering, and project teams to develop customer-specific solutions.
- Build long-term relationships with customers, system integrators, OEMs, and channel partners.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, customer visits, and technical seminars.
- Maintain CRM, sales pipeline, forecasts, and sales reports.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related engineering discipline.
- 2–6 years of experience in technical sales of robotics, industrial automation, machine vision, PLC/SCADA, motion control, CNC, or related capital equipment.
- Strong understanding of industrial automation and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to interpret customer technical requirements and convert them into commercial opportunities.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
Preferred Skills
- Experience selling collaborative robots (Cobots), robotic cells, or automation solutions.
- Familiarity with industrial robots, PLCs, sensors, vision systems, and end-of-arm tooling.
- Experience working with manufacturing clients, OEMs, or system integrators.
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
