Tamar is a Managing Partner at Challenge II and a member of the funds' investment committee. Prior to serving as Managing Partner, Tamar held several key positions with respect to Challenge Funds I and II, including Vice President, Executive Vice President, and Co-Managing General Partner. Prior to joining the funds, Tamar served as a consultant at Intercon Inc., a New York-based investment and consulting firm specializing in the Entertainment Industry. She previously worked as a corporate attorney with the firm of Proskauer Rose Goetz & Mendelsohn in New York. Tamar served as chairperson and is now a member of the Board of Directors of Sol-Gel Technologies. She is also a board member of Export Investment Company Ltd. (TASE:EXPO). Over the years, Tamar held numerous board member positions on the boards of Challenge portfolio companies. Tamar holds an M.B.A. from Columbia University and an LL.B. in Corporate Law from Israel's Bar-Ilan University Law School and is a member of the New York and Israeli Bar Associations.
