Stephan Siegel

After graduating with a B.Sc. from the University of Bayreuth (Germany) in 1995, Mr. Siegel began working for GCI Management (Munich, Germany) as Project Manager and Consultant. He occupied this position until 1999. From 1999-2005, Mr. Siegel attended Columbia University (NY, USA) and graduated with a PhD degree in Finance. After receiving his PhD from Columbia, Mr. Siegel worked for the University of Washington, Michael G. Foster School of Business, Department of Finance & Business Economics first as an Assistant Professor and presently as an Associate Professor. Mr. Siegel has over 18 years of combined industrial and academic experience. His research and teaching interests include; International Finance, Empirical Asset Pricing, International and Emerging Market Finance, Capital Markets, Venture Capital, and Macroeconomics.
