Spiros Segalas

Mr. Spiros Segalas, also known as Sig, serves as the President, Chief Investment Officer, Portfolio Manager, and Director of Jennison Associates LLC. He was one of the Founders of the firm in 1969. Prior to this, Mr. Segalas was the President, Chief Investment Officer, and Director of Janus Capital Management LLC. He began his investment career as a Research Analyst at Bankers Trust Company and was responsible for technology, aerospace, and conglomerate securities. Mr. Segalas was appointed as the Head of the Technology Group and later was asked to manage a newly introduced commingled emerging growth fund, The Supplemental Equity Fund, for the bank's institutional clients. He served at the bank's Investment Policy Group. Mr. Segalas also spent some time in the shipping and construction industries before joining Bankers Trust. Previously, he served as an Officer in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Segalas is a Member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts. He was recognized as “Manager of the Decade” in 2000 by Mutual Fund magazine. Mr. Segalas has received a B.A. from Princeton University.
