María Dolores Dancausa Treviño

Ms. María Dolores Dancausa Treviño serves as General Manager at Linea Directa Aseguradora, S.A. Ms. Dancausa Treviño has been the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Bankinter SA since October 2010. She served as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Línea Directa Aseguradora from 2008 to October 2010. She served as Company Secretary at Línea Directa Aseguradora from 1994 to 2008. She served as Secretary-General and Headed the Linea Directa Aseguradora's Human Resources, Training, Legaladvice and General Affairs Divisions. She serves as Director of Bankinter, S.A. She has been Independent Non-Executive Director at esure Group plc since December 2013. Ms. Dancausa Treviño has received several awards in her business career: in June 2013 - Awarded the Aster-Esic Prize for "Outstanding Career Achievement" and "Financial Executive of the Year" from Ecofin magazine; in November 2012 - Nominated Most Outstanding Personality of the Year for her "ability to manage a medium-sized bank in this time of crisis in the Spanish financial system" at the 2nd edition of the Economics Night organised by the daily newspaper El Economista; in April 2011 - Awarded "Outstanding Career Achievement" on the 20th edition of the Magazine Ejecutivos for her Outstanding Career Achievement; in April 2011 - Nominated as "Influential Woman" in the list of the Top 100 Spanish Women Leaders; in October 2010 - FEDEPE: Award for Best Executive of the Year in 2010. She has emerged as one of the businesswomen with the best reputation in Spain according to the MERCO-Leaders report, where she appears as one of the Top 20 most prestigious Business Executives in Spain.
