Since November 2017, Juan is the Managing Director of the Bankinter Innovation Foundation, an organization whose mission is to promote the creation of sustainable wealth through innovation and entrepreneurship. Among other activities and through its Emprendedores program, the Bankinter Innovation Foundation invests together with Bankinter Venture Capital in high-potential technology startups. Previously, Juan held different roles in product development, product management and strategic alliances in global technology and telecoms multinationals such as Lucent Technologies, Motorola and BT. He also worked in Winphoria Networks, a technology start-up which was acquired by Motorola in 2003. Juan is a Telecommunications Engineer at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and holds an Executive MBA at IESE Business School.
