John D. Saunders

Mr. John D. Saunders, Jay serves as Managing Director, Equity Research Analyst and Portfolio Manager at Principal Funds, Inc. - Diversified Real Asset Fund. Mr. Saunders serves as a Managing Director, Equity Research Analyst, and Portfolio Manager at Jennison Associates LLC. He manages Jennison Natural Resources Fund, Inc and is a Portfolio Manager of Prudential Series Fund - Natural Resources Portfolio. Mr. Saunders joined Prudential Series Fund in October 2005 after working for the global oil team as a Vice President at Deutche Bank Securities from 2000 to 2005, where he covered North American integrated oils, independent refiners and exploration and production companies. From 1997 to 2000, Mr. Saunders worked at the Energy Intelligence Group, becoming Managing Editor for the Oil Market Intelligence newsletter, reporting on a broad range of energy topics. He has received a B.A. from the College of William and Mary in 1992 and a Masters in Print Journalism from American University in 1998.
