John B. Bills joined Preston Hollow Capital in September 2014 as Chief Credit Officer. His corporate responsibilities include evaluation, analysis and underwriting of the real property components of the firm’s investments. John also assists in the negotiation and structuring of specific transactions. John previously served as Chief Credit Officer and Director of CMBS Surveillance for ORIX Capital Markets/ORIX Real Estate Americas, where he was also a member of the Special Servicing Committee. He joined ORIX in 2003 following 11 years at GE Capital Real Estate, last serving as a Senior Underwriter and Territory Team Leader for the company’s conduit lending program following several years within GECRE’s Asset Management and Operations group. Mr. Bills’ prior experience includes commercial real estate loan origination, asset management and loan workout responsibilities for a variety of financial institutions, both directly and with third-party entities, including the JE Robert Companies. John holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Finance from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
