Hassan El-Shabrawishi

Before moving to Egypt, Hassan was working for AXA Group in Paris, France as assistant deputy CEO covering operations, strategy and finance. He was in charge of Large Clients Management and global partnerships at group level. Hassan joined AXA in 2010 as a business transformation leader at the Mediterranean and Latin American region based in Madrid, Spain covering an area spanning from Mexico in the west to Turkey in the east. Before joining AXA, Hassan was working for the International Finance Corporation; a member of the World Bank Group; based in Washington DC. He started his career with Assurances Générales de France with its expansion in the Egyptian market in 2001 focused on Bancassurance. Hassan graduated with an Honors degree in finance and economics from Richmond University in London, England and obtained his MBA from the Instituto de Empresa Business School in Spain a program ranked the first in Europe by Bloomberg and the Financial Times. He is a certified board member by the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) in the United States of America.
