Born December 3, 1964 in Moscow. Studied at the Department of Mathematical Linguistics Philology Faculty, graduated from the department of art history historic MSU. He defended his PhD thesis under the direction of DV Sarabyanova. For 10 years he taught at the Department of History of Russian Art, Moscow State University "History of Russian art of the XIX century." Has a Ph.D. in art history. GI Revzin has authored more than 50 scientific papers on the theory and history of architecture. From 1996 to 2000 - deputy chief editor of "Project Russia" since 2001 - chief editor of "Project Classic." Collaborated with "Nezavisimaya Gazeta" newspaper "Today" magazines Architectural Digest (AD) and Gentelmen's Quarterly (GQ), since 1996 - an architectural columnist "Kommersant". In 2000 and 2008 he was the curator of the Russian pavilion at the Venice Biennale.
