Dr. Demosthenes Madureira De Pinho Neto, Ph.D, serves as a Vice President of Unibanco-Uniao de Bancos Brasileiros S.A. Dr. De Pinho Neto also serves as a Vice President at Unibanco Holdings S.A. Dr. De Pinho Neto serves as the Chief Executive Officer at UAM - Assessoria e Gestão de Investimento Ltd. He also serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Unibanco Asset Management. He has more than 15 years of experience in the financial sector as a Consultant and an Executive. He served as the Chief Executive Officer at Itau Asset Management S/A until April 2012, Vice-President at National Association of Investment Banks from 2000 to 2003, and the Chief Executive Officer at Dresdner Asset Management from 1999 to 2002. In the public sector, Dr. De Pinho Neto was the General-Coordinator of Monetary and Financial Policy at the Ministry of Finance (under Fernando Henrique Cardoso, 1993), and Director of the Central Bank of Brazil under the Fernando Henrique Cardoso administration from 1997 to 1999. In the private sector, he was an Associate from 1991 to 1993 and latter the Executive Officer at Unibanco and Unibanco Asset Management from 1994 to 1997. He serves as an Executive Director of Itau Unibanco S.A. He has been Director of Itaú Unibanco Holding S.A since April 20, 2012. He served as a Director of International Affairs of the Central Bank of Brazil. He has been a Professor of economics and finance at the Catholic University (Pontifícia Universidade Católica) of Rio de Janeiro from 1985 to 1986/1999, Getulio Vargas Foundation (Fundação Getulio Vargas) of São Paulo from 1991 to 1997, and Brazilian Institute of Capital Markets (Instituto Brasileiro de Mercado de Capitais - IBMEC) of São Paulo from 2000 to 2004. Dr. De Pinho Neto has obtained his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley and his M.A. and B. A. in Economics from the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro.
