Andrey Costyashkin

Dr. Andrey Costyashkin is a Partner and Chief Operating Officer at Baring Vostok Capital Partners Limited. Dr. Costyashkin coordinates the search for and evaluation of new projects, organizes the investment process, and ensures that all operations are compliant to Baring Private Equity International standards. He joined the firm in February 1999 and heads the Analytical department. At the firm, Dr. Costyashkin coordinates the search for and analysis of new projects, arranges the investment process, and monitors compliance with BPEI standards. Between 1993 and 1998, he was the Director of Research at Alfa Capital. Prior to joining Alfa, Dr. Costyashkin also worked as a researcher and lecturer for six years at the Institute of Transportation Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Moscow Institute of Transportation Engineering.
