Andrew Panzo

Mr. Andrew P. Panzo serves as General Partner at NewSpring Capital. Mr. Panzo joined NewSpring Capital on October 21, 2004 and is a part of the NewSpring Mezzanine Team. He has over 20 years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, and operational management. Mr. Panzo served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Stonepath Group, from January 1999 to June 21, 2001. Mr. Panzo was one of the Founders of Stonepath Group, Inc in September 1996 and served as its President since June 22, 2001. As the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Panzo was responsible for raising $75 million to execute a strategic consolidation of the non-asset based logistics industry. Prior to Stonepath, he was the Chief Executive Officer at Net Value Holdings, Inc. Prior to that, Mr. Panzo was the Chief Executive Officer at Brightstreet.com. He was the Founder and Chief Executive Officer at American Maple Leaf Corporation. Mr. Panzo also served as Managing Director of American Maple Leaf Corporation from October 1993 to June 1999. He served as Vice-Chairman at Stonepath Group, Inc., since June 22, 2001. He joined York Telecom Corporation as a Member of the Board of Directors on March 20, 2008. He served as a Director of Magellan Energy, Ltd., since 1995. He served as a Director of Stonepath Group, Inc. Mr. Panzo holds an M.B.A. in Finance and International Business from Temple University and a B.S. in Finance from University of Connecticut.
