Position Overview
PHIL is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Implementation Manager, Professional Services to lead enterprise client implementations from committed intent through program activation. This role will focus on solution design, cross-functional execution, and delivering high-quality, technically sound implementations that drive speed to value.
Reporting to the Director of Professional Services, you will own end-to-end implementation strategy, translate client goals into technical solution architecture, and ensure operational readiness across product, engineering, operations, and client stakeholders.
This is a highly visible, client-facing role that requires strong ownership, technical fluency, and the ability to thrive in ambiguity.
Responsibilities
Own full-cycle implementation delivery from kickoff through activation, ensuring alignment between contractual scope, client goals, and technical solution design
Lead discovery and current state assessments, translating client objectives into detailed technical specifications and operational protocols
Design and document complete program architecture, including configuration standards, business logic, operating rules, and adoption pathways
Create and maintain a centralized source of truth outlining solution design, workflows, and reporting structures
Drive cross-functional execution across product, engineering, operations, sales, and client success to ensure on-time delivery and operational readiness
Monitor and report on implementation health, including status updates, risk tracking, and priority dashboards
Serve as a product subject matter expert, understanding PHIL’s platform capabilities, roadmap, integrations, and data workflows
Oversee logging and follow-through on technical requests, ensuring tickets are properly grouped, tracked, and aligned to broader initiatives
Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and efficiency gains in delivery methodology
Influence internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex issues while maintaining scope integrity and project momentum
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
10+ years of technology-enabled services implementation experience
5+ years of vendor-side ownership of enterprise implementations
5+ years managing cross-functional and project-specific teams in a matrixed environment
Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into technical architecture and operational execution
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision making
Technical fluency in enterprise integrations including APIs, SFTP, flat file transfers, and SQL
Familiarity with AI and LLM applications within technology-enabled service environments
Experience designing implementation processes, documentation standards, and scalable delivery frameworks
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and negotiate solutions across diverse internal and external constituencies
Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Ability to travel up to 25%
