The Role:
We are looking for a Multi-Site Supply Chain Manager and MRP/ERP Specialist to join our IonQ Quantum Networking & Security Operations Team. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be part of a cross-functional international team whose mission is to lead IonQ on its journey to build the world’s best quantum computers to solve the world’s most complex problems.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring reliable production planning and material availability across all division products and programs including Quantum Networking & Security projects while managing and optimizing ERP/MRP processes across multiple manufacturing sites. Working as a core member of the division production leadership team, you will lead a team of planner and warehouse specialists driving standardization and best practices. You will collaborate closely with Manufacturing Managers, Sales, Procurement, and Finance. The ideal candidate is process-minded, structured problem-solver with a bias for action, and strong cross-functional communicator in an international multi-site environment.
Responsibilities:
SIOP & Supply Planning
- Receive the sales forecast from the Sales/Commercial team across all division and validate it for completeness, consistency, and feasibility before use in planning.
- Translate customer demand and validated forecasts into capacity, and material plans across the sites ensuring alignment between Manufacturing, Procurement and Finance.
- Lead the demand and supply review identifying gaps between demand material availability, and inventory targets, and developing mitigation scenarios and recommendations for the Senior Operations Director.
- Coordinate closely with the Procurement function on material availability, supplier lead times, supply risks, and constraints, ensuring that key risks and potential shortages are identified early and incorporated into SIOP scenarios.
- Define and optimize inventory targets and policies in line with SIOP objectives, balancing customer service and revenue requirements with working capital, excess inventory, and obsolescence risks.
- Own and monitor key SIOP and Supply Chain KPIs: On Time Delivery (OTD), capacity utilization, inventory turns, and lead times.
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop a distributed team of demand planning and warehouse/stock specialists, setting clear goals while fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma mindset).
- Establish common ways of working, tools, and standards across sites to unify the supply chain function at division level.
MRP / ERP Management
- Act as subject matter expert for the MRP/ERP system regarding demand planning capabilities, and drive improvements to configuration, workflows, and data quality.
- Partner with IT/business systems teams on ERP upgrades, patches, and enhancements affecting planning modules across all sites; lead UAT (user acceptance testing) for planning-related system changes.
Finance Reporting
- Prepare and deliver a monthly production and delivery forecast to Finance to support anticipation of next month's revenues.
- Partner with Finance on monthly sales forecasts (revenue and volume implications), budget and variance analysis (actual vs. forecast/budget) at division level.
- Plan and coordinate the annual physical inventory count at each site ensuring accuracy and working with Finance to reconcile results against ERP records.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field required;
- 8+ years of progressive supply chain experience focused on demand/supply planning in a manufacturing environment. Experience in the electronics industry preferred.
- Experience operating across multiple sites and ability to standardize processes and drive alignment across locations
- 3+ years of experience in leading a team
- Strong analytical and statistical data handling skills; advanced Excel required.
- Deep, hands-on expertise in MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) is required
- Solid knowledge of finance/costing concepts (standard costing, inventory valuation, working capital, etc)
- Fluent in French and English (written and spoken) required, given the international, cross-functional nature of the role
- Structured problem-solving and data-driven decision-making
- Cross functional influence and clear communication to Senior Leadership and Finance Stakeholders.
Compensation will vary based on individual factors such as education, qualifications, and experience of the final candidate(s), specific office location, and calibration against relevant market data and internal team equity. Posted base salary figures are subject to change as new market data becomes available.
