What you need

What You Will Be Doing:

We are hiring an Integration Technician to support the assembly and integration of Helion’s fusion generators and subscale plasma devices. You will work hands-on with electromechanical components, support full-scale builds, and help ensure production hardware is assembled safely, accurately, and efficiently in close collaborate with Technicians and Supervisors. This is an onsite position and you will report directly to one of our Production Supervisors in our facility in Everett, WA.

You Will:

  • Assemble, install, and integrate electromechanical components and subsystems onto fusion generator structures and related production hardware

  • Support testing, troubleshooting, and rework of mechanical and electrical assemblies under the guidance of senior technicians, or supervisors

  • Read and follow technical drawings, work instructions, manuals, and assembly procedures

  • Operate common production equipment and light fabrication tools to support assembly and integration activities

  • Assist with the development, maintenance, and improvement of assembly fixtures, tools, and production processes

  • Identify and escalate assembly issues, quality concerns, or process gaps to the appropriate team members

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, hardware status, and production findings

  • Follow safety, quality, and cleanliness standards throughout the production process

  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to meet build schedules, quality targets, and production goals

  • Be able to squat, reach, climb, and stand for extended periods of time, and lift up to 20 lbs

Required Skills:

  • 3–5 years of experience as a technician in a manufacturing, prototyping, or hardware assembly environment

  • Hands-on experience assembling, testing, or troubleshooting electromechanical components or systems

  • Experience using basic hand tools, power tools, and production equipment

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, assembly procedures, and work instructions

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production or prototype environment

  • Willingness to learn new systems, tools, and processes while supporting continuous improvement

  • Overhead crane and rigging experience

  • Able to support a second shift schedule 2:00pm to 10:30 pm Monday through Friday

Preferred Skills:

  • Welding experience

  • WABO certification
