POSITION SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Regulatory Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring the organization's procurement, purchasing, and supply chain operations fully comply with applicable regulatory requirements while driving operational efficiency through lean manufacturing principles. This role serves as the subject matter expert on FAR/DFARS requirements, leads Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) readiness and audit activities, and partners with cross-functional teams to design compliant, efficient processes that support company growth and regulatory compliance requirements. Using lean manufacturing principles to ensure maximum efficiency and while maintaining full compliance.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Serve as the primary internal authority on FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement) requirements as they apply to purchasing, subcontracting, and supply chain operations
· Lead preparation for and management of Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) audits, including gap analysis, corrective action plans, and liaison with DCMA (Defense Contract Management Agency) or other government auditors
· Develop, implement, and maintain purchasing system policies and procedures that satisfy regulatory requirements while supporting business objectives
· Apply lean manufacturing methodologies (e.g., value stream mapping, waste elimination, continuous improvement) to streamline procurement processes and supply chain workflows without compromising compliance
· Develop robust understanding of ERP system, and other critical technologies used by supply chain to ensure tools are utilized fully to build policy and procedure designed to maximize productivity
· Conduct internal audits and self-assessments of the purchasing system to proactively identify and remediate compliance gaps
· Monitor changes to FAR/DFARS and related regulations (e.g., CAS, ITAR/EAR as applicable, Buy American Act, TAA) and translate regulatory updates into actionable process changes
· Train and advise procurement, supply chain, and program staff on compliance requirements, tool functionality and best practices
· Maintain documentation, records, and evidence necessary to demonstrate purchasing system adequacy and audit readiness
· Collaborate with contracts, legal, quality, and program management teams to ensure consistent compliance across the supply chain
· Report compliance status, risks, and metrics to senior leadership
· Provide critical support as needed for other aspects of supply chain to meet business needs

Education & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree, 6+ years of experience, with experience in government subcontracting

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
On-site office environment located at Axiom facilities in Webester, Texas.
Requirements
· Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation
· Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position
· Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet critical project milestones
Physical Requirements
· Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time)
· May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time)
· Standard office equipment (PC, phone, printer, etc.)
