The Wilton Connecticut site hosts research and development as well as manufacturing facilities supporting Deep Ultraviolet (DUV), Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV), and the Applications Business. The Development and Engineering (D&E) and resulting Manufacturing Operations in Wilton are an integral part of ASML’s global supply chain owning the development and production of several of the modules that go into the world’s most cutting-edge machines.
This position reports to the Director of Finance in Wilton and is responsible for the Business Line Finance Control function, supporting the Wilton US site activities for the NXE and EXE BLs, with dotted-line reporting to the Business Line Finance Director(s) in Veldhoven the Netherlands.
Job Mission
The role within the Financial Business Partnering function is responsible for identifying and developing financial data and models that generate business insights and support decision making, by using a combination of cross-sector data sources and applying leading analytics tools and technologies in order to increase business value. Role & responsibilities
As the Senior Finance Controller supporting two critical Business Lines for ASML, you act as a strong business partner within the finance department and local management team. You will provide transparent information to enable and drive effective decision making in achieving our strategic objectives. Part of the Finance vision of ASML is to transition in the next couple of years from forecasting and budgeting based on historical trend information and run rates, towards predictive modelling that support the budgeting and forecasting processes. We need your help to deliver on this transition.
The role is part of a highly driven global team, working together with different parts of the finance organization as well as with counterparts in the business environment of ASML. You will be exposed to several senior management layers in the organization.
Together with the team you are responsible for:
- Partnering with and driving the business’s resourcing needs in both the short and long terms
- Enabling high-quality decision making through aggregating, analyzing, and synthesizing data from multiple sources
- Driving optimization and improvement of processes and policies, standardization of worldwide reporting and insight-driven analyses to satisfy the need for management information
- Aligning with the Business Lines and cross-sector stakeholders in the US and the Netherlands, being the bridge builder among sectors and business lines, with independent (finance) view on what is best for the company as a whole
- Management reporting & analysis
- Driving the cost-to-complete process initiatives by participating in business improvement projects and validating business cases
Education and Experience
- BA/BS in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or similar field required
- CPA and/or MBA preferred
- A minimum of 8 years relevant experience in Finance roles, including at least 5 years in Finance Business Partnering as part of a Management Team, in large-size international industrial companies, preferably in complex technology businesses
- Track record in financial and business control at business unit, divisional or group level

Context of the position
The job is part of the ASML finance organization, within the Finance Business Partnering team and Wilton Finance team. The Senior Finance Controller – NXE/EXE interacts with various departments in and outside of finance. The main interfaces of the role are the Director of Finance in Wilton and his direct reports, the Wilton-based Product and Module Managers, other Finance Business Partners and the supporting Business Insight & Control and Accounting teams.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:

Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
