
Finance | Business Administration internship: MOR process optimization
Job Description
Introduction
The Business Insights & Control team plays a key role in driving financial performance and decision making through the Monthly Operating Review (MOR) process. The process bring together inputs from over 1oo stakeholders across the organization under tight timelines.
Your assignment
As an Intern, you will support the execution and continuous improvement of Monthly Operating Review (MOR) process while contributing to automation and process optimization initiatives
Your key responsibility will include:
Supporting end-to-end MOR activities and coordination
Validating and processing financial data across systems (e.g., SAC, BPC)
Assisting in preparation of reports such as cash goalposts and treasury reporting.
Developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve existing processes
Supporting master data maintenance and data consistency in reporting systems
This is a bachelor or master (optional thesis) internship for minimum 5 months, minimum 4 days per week (2/3 days on-site).The start date is August 2026.
Your profile
We are looking for a motivated and analytical student who is eager to gain hands-on experience in financial planning and analysis
Are enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
High attention to details and structured way of working
Proactive mindset with ability to take ownership
Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
Interest in financial systems, data and process improvement
Nice to have
Familiarity with Excel (advanced level preferred)
Basic Knowledge of financial concept (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet)
Experience or interest in tools such as SAP, SAC or data analytics
Other requirements you need to meet:
You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;
You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter needs to include the willingness to relocate.
If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
