
Business Analytics | Data Science internship: data reporting automation
Job Description
Introduction
The Customer Support EUV Service Cost team in Veldhoven supports global service operations in achieving cost targets. The team defines targets, builds improvement roadmaps, and drives actions across regions and departments. This internship contributes to transforming reporting into a streamlined, automated, and data-driven process. You will work on improving how financial and operational data is collected, processed, and visualized. This creates direct impact on decisions within a high-tech environment managing over €1 billion in operations.
Your assignment
In this internship, you will help improve how monthly service cost reports are created and used. You will focus on reducing manual work and enabling faster insights through automation and clear dashboards. You will work with data from multiple sources and translate this into consistent reporting views across teams and regions. Your main responsibilities will be:
Analyze current reporting workflows and identify automation opportunities
Design and build scripts to automate data collection and processing
Create structured data pipelines connecting multiple data sources
Develop and improve dashboards with clear filters and user views
Create and automate waterfall analyses by integrating data from multiple sources
Translate financial and operational data into actionable insights
Document solutions and guide users on implementation and maintenance
Collaborate with stakeholders to align definitions and reporting standards
This is a bachelor’s or master’s (non-thesis) internship for a minimum 5 months, a minimum of 4 days per week (3 days on-site). The start date of this internship is as of the end of August / beginning of September 2026.
Your profile
To be suitable for the internship, you:
Are enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business analytics, data science, computer science, industrial engineering, or a related field
Have experience with data analysis and dashboard development tools (such as Power BI or similar)
Have basic programming skills and an interest in automation (for example Python)
Are analytical, detail-oriented, and structured in your way of working
Communicate clearly in English and collaborate effectively with different stakeholders
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
