Communications internship: Europe Communications

If so, the internship with the Europe Communications team at ASML offers a unique opportunity to support our internal and external communications, help organize internal and external events, and work closely with colleagues across

Europe on impactful projects.

Background information

Communication internships with European teams involve creating digital content, managing NL owned- comms channels, supporting events, and handling internal communications for stakeholders both in the Netherlands and other regions. Internship work can either take place at our Veldhoven office at least two days a week or remotely, giving you the flexibility to choose where you work.

Your assignment

As an intern you can support us in several ways:  

• Support with creating and publishing internal newsletters, updates, articles, SharePoint sites, videos, announcements and managing mailbox.

• Plan and coordinate social media posts in collaboration with our creative agency

• Support in producing communication materials such as banners, posts, TV screen messages and web copies.

• Track NL-owned channels and generate reports on engagement and trends.

• Support internal and external events communications, including pre‑ and post‑event messaging, feedback collection, and report preparation.

This is a non-thesis internship with a minimum duration of five months, minimum 4 days per week (2/3 days on site). The starting date is flexible, but preferably no later than the end of September 2026.

Your profile

• Are a bachelor’s student in Communications, Change Communication, Event Management, or a related field

• Have a creative and enthusiastic mindset

• Are eager to learn and possess a digital mindset

• Don’t mind performing operational tasks and can identify efficient ways to implement them

• Enjoy finding solutions to problems

• Have persuasive communications skills and are a self-starter

• Demonstrate a collaborative mindset and thrive in team environments

• Are fluent in English, both written and spoken; Dutch is a requirement

• Have good knowledge of Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint; knowledge of Mapp and programming skills are a big plus
