Introduction to the job

Do you like working with your hands and building technical products? As an Assembler Technician, you help build some of the most advanced machines in the world. These machines are used to make computer chips. You can find these chips in phones, cars, medical equipment, and many other products that people use every day.

Role and responsibilities

You will follow a training program and you will build on your existing technical skills to learn how to assemble ASML products. You will use tools, work instructions, and technical drawings to do your work correctly and safely.

You will:

Assemble mechanical parts and modules using tools and work instructions.
Install, adjust, and align components with a high level of accuracy.
Check and test parts and machines to make sure they work correctly.
Find and solve technical problems together with your team.
Follow safety guidelines and keep your workplace clean and organized.
Share updates about your work and help improve the assembly process.

Education and experience

You do not need to know everything before you start. We are looking for people with a technical background who enjoy practical work and want to keep learning.

You have:

A vocational/practical qualification (Level 3 or 4 (mbo) education) in a technical field, such as mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automotive technology, installation technology, or a similar area.
Or relevant technical work experience in assembly, manufacturing, maintenance, or production.
Experience working with tools and technical equipment.
Experience reading technical drawings or work instructions.
Good practical and mechanical skills.
Good level of English for daily communication and work instructions.

Other information

This Assembler Technician position is based in Veldhoven, the Netherlands.

You will work in a two-shift schedule:

Early shift: 06:30 – 15:30
Late shift: 15:00 – 00:00

You will work one weekend each month.

Working shifts can affect your daily routine and sleeping pattern. At the same time, shift work gives you more free time during the day. You can use this time for hobbies, friends, or family. You will receive an extra allowance for working shifts.

ASML supports learning and personal development. As an Assembler Technician, you can learn new skills, take on new responsibilities, and grow within an international technology company.

For this position, the expected fixed annual salary is between €47,500 and €53,500. This amount includes holiday allowance and a 13th-month payment and is based on a full-time contract. Profit sharing is not included.

Because this is a shift position, you will receive a shift allowance on top of your salary.

Your final salary will depend on factors such as your skills, education, work experience, certifications, and performance during the selection process.

Introductie van de functie

Werk je graag met je handen en bouw je graag technische producten? Als Assemblage Technicus help je mee aan de bouw van enkele van de meest geavanceerde machines ter wereld. Deze machines worden gebruikt voor de productie van computerchips. Je vindt deze chips terug in telefoons, auto's, medische apparatuur en vele andere producten die mensen dagelijks gebruiken.

Bij ASML werk je in een schone en moderne werkomgeving. Teamwerk, kwaliteit en nauwkeurigheid staan centraal. Je krijgt training en ondersteuning van ervaren collega’s. Hierdoor kun je je technische vaardigheden verder ontwikkelen en doorgroeien binnen je functie.

Of je nu al ervaring hebt met assemblagewerk of technische vaardigheden hebt opgedaan in een andere functie, deze rol biedt je de kans om te leren en een belangrijke bijdrage te leveren.

Functie en verantwoordelijkheden

Je volgt een opleidingsprogramma en bouwt voort op je bestaande technische kennis om te leren hoe je ASML-producten assembleert. Je werkt met gereedschappen, werkinstructies en technische tekeningen om je werkzaamheden correct en veilig uit te voeren.

Je zult:

Mechanische onderdelen en modules assembleren met behulp van gereedschappen en werkinstructies.
Componenten installeren, afstellen en uitlijnen met een hoge mate van nauwkeurigheid.
Onderdelen en machines controleren en testen om ervoor te zorgen dat ze correct functioneren.
Technische problemen signaleren en oplossen samen met je team.
Veiligheidsrichtlijnen opvolgen en je werkplek schoon en georganiseerd houden.
Updates delen over je werkzaamheden en bijdragen aan verbeteringen van het assemblageproces.

Opleiding en ervaring

Je hoeft niet alles al te weten voordat je begint. We zoeken mensen met een technische achtergrond die graag praktisch bezig zijn en zich willen blijven ontwikkelen.

Je beschikt over:

Een vakopleiding op niveau 3 of 4 (mbo) in een technische richting, zoals werktuigbouwkunde, mechatronica, autotechniek, installatietechniek of een vergelijkbaar vakgebied.
Of relevante technische werkervaring in assemblage, productie, onderhoud of fabricage.
Ervaring met het werken met gereedschappen en technische apparatuur.
Ervaring met het lezen van technische tekeningen of werkinstructies.
Goede praktische en mechanische vaardigheden.
Een goede beheersing van de Engelse taal voor dagelijkse communicatie en het begrijpen van werkinstructies.

Heb je sterke technische ervaring maar voldoe je niet volledig aan alle bovenstaande eisen? Dan horen we alsnog graag van je.

Deze functie van Assemblage Technicus is gevestigd in Veldhoven, Nederland.

Je werkt in een tweeploegendienst:

Vroege dienst: 06:30 – 15:30
Late dienst: 15:00 – 00:00

Daarnaast werk je één weekend per maand.

Werken in ploegendienst kan invloed hebben op je dagelijkse ritme en slaappatroon. Tegelijkertijd biedt ploegendienst meer vrije tijd overdag, die je kunt besteden aan hobby’s, vrienden of familie. Voor het werken in ploegendienst ontvang je een extra ploegentoeslag.

ASML stimuleert leren en persoonlijke ontwikkeling. Als Assemblage Technicus kun je nieuwe vaardigheden ontwikkelen, meer verantwoordelijkheden krijgen en doorgroeien binnen een internationaal technologiebedrijf.

Voor deze functie ligt het verwachte vaste jaarsalaris tussen €47.500 en €53.500. Dit bedrag is inclusief vakantietoeslag en een 13e maand en is gebaseerd op een fulltime dienstverband. Een eventuele winstdelingsregeling is hierin niet inbegrepen.

Omdat dit een functie in ploegendienst betreft, ontvang je bovenop je salaris een ploegentoeslag.

Je uiteindelijke salaris is afhankelijk van factoren zoals je vaardigheden, opleiding, werkervaring, certificeringen en prestaties tijdens de selectieprocedure.
