The Vice President, Quality for Space, Defense, & National Security is responsible for leading enterprise-wide quality and compliance to ensure consistent, high-quality, and regulatory-compliant product delivery.
The position reports to the segment EVP, Operations and is based in the Denver Metro Area, CO area. This role is onsite.
In this role, the essential functions are:
- Lead enterprise-wide quality, compliance, and control efforts across aerospace and other highly regulated manufacturing environments
- Maintain and enhance QMS to meet AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA, customer requirements, and lead related certification, surveillance, and audit efforts
- Oversee quality across all functions, including receiving, in-process, final inspection, supplier quality, and returns/warranty
- Serve as the primary interface for customers, regulators, and certification bodies on quality matters
- Manage MRB, nonconformance, CAPA, and RCCA processes to ensure resolution, traceability, and prevention
- Establish and track key quality metrics to drive data-driven improvement across sites and functions
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance throughput, reduce waste, and improve customer satisfaction
- Report on quality performance and risk, fostering cross-functional collaboration and accountability
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and operational excellence

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field
- 15+ years of experience in quality management within aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing environments
- 10+ years of leadership experience managing quality teams
- Experience leading quality organizations across QA and QC functions
- Strong knowledge of AS9100, FAA, DoD, and applicable regulatory and quality standards
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, special processes, and supplier quality
- Experience implementing and managing QMS in regulated environments
- Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement and defect reduction initiatives
- Proficiency in root cause analysis, CAPA, and quality performance metrics
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in a relevant technical discipline.
- Experience leading quality organizations across multiple sites and geographies
- Familiarity with customer, regulatory, and certification audit processes at scale
- Experience working in defense or national security programs
Travel Requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 35%, including the possibility of overnights within our various company locations.
The good faith base salary range for this role is $240,000 - $290,000 at the time of this posting. Where you fall within the range depends on your experience, skills, and location. This range reflects base salary only and does not include benefits or bonus/incentive. This range may be adjusted in the future.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
