Role Summary
The Sr. Manager, Material Program Management is responsible and accountable for the material plan, schedule, and execution across Voyager's Strategic Systems product portfolio. This leader builds, develops, and directs a team of Material Program Managers (MPMs) who lead all phases of material and subcontract program execution, from proposal through development and production. The Sr. Manager sets the standard for how Voyager Supply Chain runs material programs: consistent planning and reporting, disciplined financial control, proactive risk management, and full compliance with customer and Government contract requirements.
This role pairs strategic thinking with hands-on execution. The Sr. Manager is the senior supply chain voice on assigned programs, partnering with Program Management, Engineering, Quality, Contracts, Finance, and Strategic Sourcing, and representing Supply Chain in program reviews, leadership briefings, and customer meetings. A successful leader in this role builds trust quickly, makes sound decisions with incomplete information, and holds themselves and their team accountable for results.
