Major Duties

CIA's Directorate of Analysis employs highly motivated officers with a range of regional and technical expertise. Analytic specialties include Cyber Threat; Economics; Leadership; Methodology; Military; Politics; Science, Technology and Weapons; and Targeting. Qualifications

Interested candidates should be passionate about the ideals of our American republic, committed to upholding the rule of law and the U.S. Constitution, and committed to improving the efficiency of the Federal government. Candidates for analytic positions should possess the following attributes: Patriotism Integrity Strong critical thinking and communication skills (verbal and written) Commitment to objectivity Intellectual curiosity Sound judgement and interpersonal skills Ability to balance initiative and collaboration Minimum Qualifications Commitment to CIA's mission Understanding of foreign affairs and US strategic priorities Ability to meet the minimum requirements for joining CIA, including U.S. citizenship and a background investigation

Education

Bachelor's degree from accredited institution At least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
