Entangl Scales Beyond Seven Employees to Automate Data Center Operations
Entangl is scaling its team to expand software that automates troubleshooting across physical computing infrastructure. Founded in 2024 and backed by $500,000 in venture funding, the seven-person startup is recruiting across the United States and internationally, listing 11 open positions in software development, go-to-market functions, and company operations.
The San Francisco-based company went through Y Combinator’s S24 batch and counts 468 Capital and Evolution VC Partners among its investors. Entangl targets the operational layer of data center infrastructure, building software to detect anomalies and resolve problems before they trigger costly outages.
Monitoring and Remediating Data Center Failures
Entangl develops artificial intelligence software designed to detect and automatically resolve operational and engineering issues inside data centers. The platform monitors facilities to protect uptime and maintain operational efficiency.
With computational demand accelerating, modern data center environments face severe constraints in power distribution, cooling, and hardware maintenance. Entangl focuses on automating the diagnosis and remediation workflows that operations teams traditionally handle manually.
Engineering Leadership Grounded in Imperial College London
Entangl was co-founded by Chief Executive Officer Shapol M and Chief Technology Officer Antanas Zilinskas. Both founders studied engineering at Imperial College London.
Shapol M, based in the United States, studied aeronautical engineering at Imperial. Prior to founding Entangl, he co-founded KRUIZ, where he worked from 2020 to 2023, and co-founded the Karman Space Programme in 2021, where he remains an active chairman and advisor.
Antanas Zilinskas, based in Lithuania, earned a Master of Engineering in Design Engineering from Imperial. As CTO, he oversees technical architecture and platform engineering for Entangl's automated remediation systems.
Distributed Engineering and Go-to-Market Expansion
Entangl's current hiring push focuses heavily on full-stack software development and initial enterprise sales coverage.
On the engineering side, the company is recruiting software engineers across several geographic hubs. To scale its platform core, Entangl is hiring an onsite mid-level Full Stack Engineer in New York, alongside an onsite entry-level Full Stack Engineer in San Francisco and an onsite Full Stack Engineer in Boston. A fourth software opening for a hybrid Full Stack Engineer offers flexibility across San Francisco, Singapore, and remote locations in both regions. All engineering postings carry a compensation range of $120,000 to $180,000 USD per year.
To commercialize its product with data center operators, Entangl is building out a sales motion from San Francisco. The team is hiring a mid-level Account Executive offering a salary range of $130,000 to $350,000 USD per year, backed by a hybrid Sales Development Rep (SDR) offering $70,000 to $100,000 USD per year. The company is also hiring a hybrid Executive Assistant in San Francisco paying between $90,000 and $140,000 USD per year.
Entangl's job board also features several bespoke mid-level postings located onsite in San Francisco, including a Bill McDermott (Account Executive) role paying between $150,000 and $300,000 USD per year, a Greg Brockman opening listed at $150,000 to $200,000 USD per year, and two design and business-focused Jony Ive listings with annual salaries from $120,000 to $180,000 USD.
