Evan Raff, MD, MHA, joined as Chief Clinical Officer in July 2026. A veteran physician executive, he has led population health and early detection programs. Jean-Olivier "J-O" Racine arrived in January 2026 as Chief Product & Technology Officer. The dual appointments reflect a company past proof-of-concept. The first visible output of that deepening is Protect Her, the AI-powered women's health detection module launched April 2025 that flags breast arterial calcifications on mammograms, coronary artery calcium on chest CTs, and vertebral spine fractures, findings routinely missed in standard reads. A November 2025 Quality Rounds session signaled the company intends to extend that applied-AI approach to additional conditions and populations.
The clinical side mirrors this expansion. Raff, a veteran physician executive, joins to lead the clinical direction of such programs. His remit includes broadening the evidence base that links measured diagnostic quality to downstream cost reduction; Covera has demonstrated such cost reductions across commercially insured populations, with actuarially validated consistent reductions across both commercial and government-insured groups.
The combined Covera-Medmo platform now manages the complete radiology journey from imaging order to accurate diagnosis. Medmo's referral network facilitated the aforementioned journeys across all 50 states, delivering this reduction via site-of-care navigation and such higher study completion rates. Integrating that front-end navigation with Covera's back-end quality measurement creates a closed loop: order routing, site selection, study execution, AI-augmented interpretation, and verified result delivery back to the ordering physician.
