That architecture shapes the job board. Recent postings cluster in three functional pillars: Salesforce engineering leads (remote U.S. and Canada), backend staff engineers focused on user experience (Toronto and Vancouver), and physician-facing account managers in California (San Diego/Irvine and San Francisco/San Jose). The board's overall salary band runs $50k–$210k across 27 salaried roles, Zero G Talent's data shows. Those titles map directly to the three pillars. Salesforce ownership signals a Finance and Operations team building the revenue and compliance backbone. Backend UX staff engineers point to an Engineering org hardening the imaging pipeline and clinician tooling. Physician partnership roles sit squarely in Sales, where the product meets the referral network that drives volume.

The hiring bar reflects the regulated, hardware-coupled environment. Clinicians who've managed imaging workflows. Engineers who've shipped ML models into FDA-cleared devices. Salespeople who've navigated hospital procurement cycles. Finance operators who've modeled revenue for capitated or fee-for-service contracts. With tenure averaging 1.8 years, the functional weights will shift as new locations come online.

The Pay Picture

Prenuvo's compensation structure sits in a narrow band for most salaried roles — $50,000 to $210,000 with a $125,000 median across the 27 postings, but the extremes tell a different story. Radiologists on 1099 contracts can clear $497,000 annually, while entry-level liaisons start around $22–$24 per hour. The spread reflects a workforce split between high-acuity clinical talent and the engineering, sales, and operations teams that scale the platform.

Prenuvo's public site mentions preferred rates for first-responder and military groups, a benefit that effectively lifts total compensation for those cohorts without changing base pay. For candidates comparing offers, the board's median of $125,000 is the anchor; anything above $200,000 signals a specialized clinical or senior engineering slot, and anything below $70,000 likely means an hourly or early-career support role.

The dataset shows a 0 percent offer rate, a figure that almost certainly reflects reporting gaps rather than a literal zero, but it signals that the bar is high enough that no single round can be treated as a formality.

The funnel opens with an initial recruiter screening call to review background and fit, followed by a pre-recorded video screening with behavioral and motivational questions under a strict time limit. Candidates who clear that step move into an HR screen that checks mutual fit, alignment with the preventive-health mission, and basic background. From there the process splits by function. Engineering and data-science tracks face a take-home project — flagged at the highest prominence level, followed by live coding and algorithm-implementation rounds. System design and diffusion-model knowledge appear at the same top prominence tier, so a candidate who can architect a scalable pipeline but cannot explain the denoising loop in a latent diffusion model will stall. Medical-AI domain knowledge sits at 95–96 percent prominence; interviewers expect you to connect model choices to clinical constraints such as radiation-free whole-body imaging.

Glassdoor hosts 60 anonymous interview questions and 60 reviews for Prenuvo, and the pattern matches the topic weights: system design, diffusion models, take-home project, coding assessments, algorithm implementation, ML concepts, the aforementioned domain knowledge and data science project communication. The company's own career page describes the process as "flexible and adaptive, with a strong emphasis on cultural resonance, entrepreneurial spirit, problem-solving acumen, and an unwavering commitment to our mission."

What disqualifies candidates most often? Three patterns. First, treating diffusion models as optional background is a mistake; they are tested at the same prominence as system design. Second, assuming the behavioral rounds are box-checking; the role-play scenarios and multiple leadership conversations mean communication and mission alignment are scored at every stage. Third, leaning on a single strong technical round while neglecting the take-home or the final presentation. The process is explicitly multi-gate: a standout coding session does not compensate for a weak system-design walkthrough or a flat executive conversation.

Preparation priority follows the topic hierarchy. System design and diffusion models come first; practice architecture trade-offs out loud and be ready to derive the variational lower bound for a diffusion objective. Coding and algorithm implementation come next; LeetCode-style drills help but the live rounds favor clean, production-grade structure over puzzle tricks. Medical-AI domain knowledge and data-science communication round out the technical stack. For sales, rehearse the simulation script until the discovery questions feel conversational, not checklist-driven.

The 0 percent offer rate in the dataset is almost certainly a reporting artifact, but it underscores a real dynamic: Prenuvo's loop is designed to filter for people who can operate across clinical, engineering, and commercial boundaries without losing the mission thread. Candidates who treat each stage as a discrete hurdle rather than a continuous evaluation tend to exit early. The ones who advance are the ones who show up to the final leadership conversation still referencing the patient-impact language from the very first HR screen.

Where You'll Work

Prenuvo's physical footprint maps directly to its scanning service: the company operates MRI screening centers in the cities where it has opened clinical locations, and it staffs corporate and engineering roles in the same metros or remotely. The research documents a founding site in Vancouver (2018), a flagship Manhattan location that opened in April 2023 as part of a $70 million Series A expansion, and active hiring in Southern California (San Diego, Irvine), Northern California (San Francisco, San Jose), and Toronto, all of which appear as worksite tags on the board's current postings.

Each clinical site is built around the same core asset: a magnetic resonance imaging suite capable of delivering a whole-body scan in under an hour without ionizing radiation or contrast dyes. The service menu — torso-only, head-and-torso, or full-body, runs on identical protocols across locations so that a scan in Vancouver reads the same way as one in Manhattan. That standardization is what lets the company pool images for the AI training pipeline leadership has described as the lever for long-term cost reduction. The imaging suites themselves are the primary "lab" space; there is no separate wet lab or bench-research facility documented in the public record.

The Manhattan location, profiled in a 2025 Prevention first-person review, functions as a retail-clinical hybrid: a reception area, changing rooms, and one or more MRI bays arranged for throughput rather than acute-care workflow. The author notes a $4,500 "Enhanced Screening" price at that site, with lower-tier options at $2,500 (whole-body) and $999 (torso-only), suggesting the physical plant is sized for scheduled, high-volume screening rather than emergency or diagnostic radiology. Engineering roles (Staff Engineer – User Experience Backend in Toronto and Vancouver; Manager, Software Engineering, Salesforce remote in the U.S. and Canada) are listed with city tags but the board data does not specify whether those employees sit in the clinical centers, in separate office suites, or fully remote.

Vancouver remains the only site explicitly tied to the company's origin and early development. A 2023 Fortune piece frames the NYC opening as the first step in a "massive nationwide expansion," yet the research does not enumerate a full list of launched clinics beyond the cities that appear in hiring data. The board's 27 salaried postings cluster in the six metros above plus remote, which is the strongest signal of where Prenuvo currently maintains physical or operational presence.

For a candidate, the takeaway is concrete: if you join a clinical-operations, radiology-tech, or front-desk role, you will work inside an MRI screening center that looks more like a high-end outpatient clinic than a hospital radiology department. If you join software, data, or AI teams, your "site" is likely a standard tech office or a home desk; the research does not show a dedicated R&D lab co-located with the scanners. The integration between scan acquisition and the software stack likely happens over the network, not through a shared physical workspace that the public record describes.

Who Lasts

Prenuvo does not publish employee engagement surveys, and Glassdoor reviews are too sparse to form a reliable pattern. What follows is an inference drawn from the company's documented operating conditions, its public controversies, and the functional demands of the roles it actually fills.

The core tension is visible in the medical literature. Whole-body MRI for asymptomatic screening sits outside standard-of-care guidelines; the American College of Radiology says there is "no documented evidence that total body screening is cost-efficient or effective in prolonging life," and the FDA has not cleared the indication. Prenuvo's own site acknowledges that 86 percent of cancers are not caught by recommended screenings, yet the company's scan detects 500 conditions — a yield that includes a 32 percent pooled prevalence of critical or indeterminate incidental findings and a 16 percent false-positive rate across studies. Employees who stay are the ones who can work inside that ambiguity without treating every flagged finding as a crisis or dismissing every critique as ignorance.

That profile shows up in the hiring mix. The board lists two Manager, Software Engineering (Salesforce) roles — one U.S., one Canada, banded at $190k–$240k, as Zero G Talent reported. Salesforce in a regulated health environment means configuring patient journeys, consent flows, and data governance that satisfy HIPAA and provincial privacy laws while the clinical protocol itself is still debated. Such a role in Toronto or Vancouver ($180k–$210k), according to Zero G Talent, builds the pipelines that turn 60-minute MRI acquisitions into a radiologist's report and a patient's portal view. Both roles require engineers who have shipped in regulated software — FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 13485, or at least SOC 2 Type II, and who can explain technical trade-offs to a clinical chief who trained on diagnostic, not screening, paradigms.

The Account Manager, Physician Partnerships and Physician Relations roles (Southern and Northern California, $150k–$200k), according to Zero G Talent, face a harder audience. Radiologists and primary-care doctors receive patients holding Prenuvo reports showing "mild scoliosis, a deviated septum, and a hernia"; findings that explain chronic pain but also generate downstream referrals the physician did not order. The account managers who last are the ones who can sit in a practice administrator's office and share the false-positive rate, the follow-up protocol, the John Hancock partnership that gives patients a $500 discount, and ask what the workflow needs. They treat skepticism as a design constraint, not an objection to overcome.

Patient-facing staff — not yet visible on the board but implied by 170,000 scans delivered, absorb a different pressure. A scan costs $999–$4,500 out of pocket; insurance does not cover it. Patients arrive anxious, often with family cancer histories. The scan may find nothing malignant but reveal a hernia that "suddenly made sense" of years of pelvic pain. It may also find a thyroid nodule that triggers a biopsy the patient would never have had. Employees who thrive translate that output without false reassurance or alarm. They know the South Korea thyroid-screening precedent — a six-fold incidence spike with no mortality benefit, and they can explain why Prenuvo's protocol differs without sounding rehearsed.

The company's stated roadmap adds another filter. Prenuvo says it is "harnessing the powers of artificial intelligence to become more efficient, which will allow them to bring prices down long-term." That means the engineering and product hires who stay can take MRI acquisitions, train models that reduce radiologist read time, and validate that the sensitivity/specificity trade-off holds across the 500-condition claim, all while the clinical utility of the whole panel remains unproven in a randomized trial. They are building infrastructure for a reimbursement model that does not yet exist.

In short: Prenuvo selects for people who have operated in evidence gaps before — early diagnostic startups, lab-developed-test commercialization, digital therapeutics seeking CMS coverage. They write documentation that anticipates regulatory scrutiny. They design onboarding that teaches a new hire why major medical organizations are wary of the service, then lets that hire decide whether the mission still fits. The ones who read the ACR statement, the South Korea analysis, and still show up to ship the next integration.
