As the Master Production Scheduler at Senra Systems, you will be responsible for owning the company's master production schedule and translating customer demand into an executable factory plan. You will serve as the central planning authority connecting bookings, production capacity, material readiness, engineering readiness, and revenue objectives to ensure the business can execute against customer commitments and financial targets.
This role is highly analytical and execution-focused, requiring strong organizational skills, business judgment, and the ability to interpret signals from across the company. Success is measured by forecast accuracy, schedule attainment, capacity utilization, revenue predictability, and the organization's ability to execute against plan.
What you'll own:
- Own and maintain the company-wide master production schedule across all facilities, programs, and product lines.
- Translate bookings, customer demand, and forecasted opportunities into executable production plans.
- Maintain accurate capacity models across labor, equipment, facilities, and supporting functions.
- Analyze available versus booked capacity and identify overbookings, bottlenecks, and execution risks.
- Develop and maintain quarterly production and shipment forecasts supporting company revenue objectives.
- Monitor actual performance against plan and continuously update forecasts based on changing business conditions.
- Ensure planning targets, milestones, and schedules are accurately maintained within AMP and associated planning systems.
- Identify critical path constraints across Production, Supply Chain, Inventory, Engineering, Quality, and Program Management.
- Recommend production pull-ins, push-outs, labor balancing, overtime utilization, and prioritization adjustments to optimize factory performance and revenue attainment.
- Partner with Production Control, Supply Chain, Engineering, Programs, and Production leadership to maintain schedule adherence and execution.
- Facilitate planning reviews and communicate schedule risks, mitigation plans, and forecast updates to leadership.
- Serve as the primary planning interface between Operations, Sales, Programs, Finance, Product, and Executive Leadership.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting, and analytics that provide visibility into capacity, bookings, forecast accuracy, schedule attainment, and revenue projections.
- Leverage SQL, Python, Power BI, and other analytical tools to support decision-making and operational planning.
- Partner with Software and Product teams to improve planning systems, workflows, reporting, and automation capabilities.
- Continuously improve scheduling methodologies, planning processes, and forecasting accuracy.
What you'll bring to the team:
- 5+ years of experience in master scheduling, production planning, program management, operations management, supply chain planning, or related manufacturing functions.
- Experience working in a complex manufacturing environment with responsibility for production schedules and capacity planning.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production control, material planning, and demand forecasting.
- Advanced ERP/MRP system experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment without direct authority.
- Experience working with large data sets and translating data into actionable recommendations.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Aerospace, defense, electronics, automotive, or similarly complex manufacturing experience.
- Startup or high-growth manufacturing experience.
- Experience supporting executive leadership with operational planning and forecasting.
- Experience with AMP, ERP, MES, APS, or advanced planning systems.
- SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools.
- Experience leading S&OP or master scheduling processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
Key Deliverables
- Maintain an accurate company-wide master production schedule reflecting customer demand, factory capacity, and production commitments.
- Provide rolling quarterly production and revenue forecasts with clearly identified risks and assumptions.
- Ensure planning targets and schedule commitments within AMP accurately reflect operational reality.
- Identify schedule risks, bottlenecks, and capacity constraints before they impact production or revenue performance.
- Provide actionable recommendations for pull-ins, push-outs, staffing, overtime, and prioritization decisions.
- Maintain visibility into available versus booked capacity across all major production areas.
- Support achievement of company revenue, on-time delivery, and schedule attainment objectives.
- Serve as the company's source of truth for production planning, capacity management, and revenue forecasting.
Compensation:
- Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
- Salary Range: $100,000-$150,000
- This is an onsite role at our headquarters in Redondo Beach, CA.
