Visual Designer

Position Overview:

We’re seeking a highly motivated Visual Designer to join our team and help shape how our brand and products show up in the world. Rather than inheriting a fully defined system, you’ll play a key role in building and evolving it—deciding where to push, where to refine, and how to maintain coherence while still moving boldly. You’ll collaborate closely with design leadership and cross functional teams, delivering designs that drives impact across the entire company.

What you’ll do:

• Play a key role in establishing and evolving Numen’s brand visual language across website, print, digital, and UI design.
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement digital products from concept to market.
• Be involved in research, product feature definition, and progress the design based on user feedback.
• Create scalable design assets and design systems that maintain quality as the company grows.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to support product launches, campaigns, and mission-critical initiatives.
• Build slide systems and templates that allow teams to scale high-quality presentations quickly.

Qualifications:

• Excellent understanding of visual design principals across typography, layout, iconography, photography, and motion.
• Demonstrate ability to conceptualize and build big ideas and forward-thinking concepts with a structured process.
• Comfortable with ambiguity, ability to distill insight from research and use that to guide the decision-making process.
• Building designs with intention and systems thinking, not just shipping assets.
• High level of proficiency in visual, graphic design, and motion graphic software and tools.
• Product rendering / animation capability is a strong plus.
• Constantly learning, open to adopt new processes and tools that drives better outcomes.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• A portfolio of 3-5 relevant projects.
