Founding Business Lead (U.S. Expansion)

Miso built one of Korea's largest home services marketplaces, completing millions of services with over 130,000 service professionals.

We're now building Miso Motion: a new company supplying real-world robotics data to frontier AI labs developing the next generation of physical AI. We're already working with leading AI companies and are building our U.S. presence from San Francisco.

We're looking for our first full-time hire in the Bay Area.

This isn't a traditional operations role. You'll work directly with our founder to help build the U.S. business from the ground up, developing partnerships, meeting AI founders, recruiting, solving operational problems, and helping shape the company.

If you enjoy creating something from nothing, you'll probably love this role.

What you'll do

• Work directly with the CEO on the company's highest-priority initiatives.
• Build relationships with frontier AI labs, robotics companies, and startup founders.
• Own partnerships from first conversation through execution.
• Help recruit the first U.S. team.
• Launch and scale our San Francisco operations.
• Represent the company at AI and robotics events.
• Solve whatever the business needs next. Every week will look different.

We're looking for someone who

• Has built something difficult before (founder experience is a plus).
• Thrives in ambiguity.
• Learns technical topics quickly.
• Communicates exceptionally well.
• Naturally builds long-term relationships.
• Is highly organized without becoming bureaucratic.
• Wants ownership rather than clearly defined responsibilities.

Nice to have

• Startup founder or early employee.
• YC experience.
• Robotics or AI background.
• Experience in partnerships, business development, product, or operations.
